This superb print is of the 1989 Le Mans winning Sauber Mercedes C9 cars.
It was the first time in 30 years that Mercedes had competed at Le Mans following the tragic crash in the fifties, which claimed more than 80 lives.
The print measures approximately 34"x26" and is produced on heavy quality art paper (The image appears a little dark and does not show the true background colour which is white)
It is signed by the artist Alan Stammers and is number 164 of a limited run of 200.
The print is hand signed by the winning drivers Manuel Reuter, Jochen Mass and Stanley Dickens and is supplied with the original certificate of authenticity (issued by Legends in Time).
The print was purchased as part of a larger collection and was originally framed. It has been removed from the frame and is in perfect condition, but has a small strip of framing tape along the reverse top edge. This of course would be completely unseen when the print is reframed.
Please note that postage costs include suitable insurance and a signature is required on delivery. UK buyers will pay only £5.75 postage and not £10.75 as shown in the checkout section. This figure is for other European destinations only and I will adjust the cost manually.
